Firstly, thank you all very much for affirming what I thought - that I
should continue with the sale... seems that "biffcliffer"
doesn't share your sense of ethics.

Obviously I have forwarded his mails to eBay to (not) deal with.
The thing is, he is UK-based and pursuing this legally is not half as much
hassle as he thinks it would be if I lived in the States.  And he'd lose!!
