Thanks for the quick reply.  I have done some more playing

If I leave the sound window open with the mic level off or very low -
EchoMac sets it to 80%

If you have it at 50% it leaves the audio level alone!!  Looks like =
anything
below 10% or so it resets the level to 80% or so.

I can't reproduce that here with any of my audio sources - whatever I=20
set them to in the sound control panel is what they stay at whether I=20
transmit or not. Maybe Steve Palm will have an idea about this one, but =

I don't think EchoMac is adjusting any levels.
