Just another "Media-ite Hunter" doing anything he can do to attract attention, the media and air-time.  You can expect a sizable portion of the people that show up at these falls to be more concerned with being in the press than actually looking for meteorites. It is part of the circus atmosphere that now surrounds these events.

It looks like a beautiful place to visit in the Fall when all of the fanfare dies down.
