Hi Listees!

My pre-spring cleaning continues....

I have 10 (ten) vintage meteorite postcards. These were printed sometime in the 1980's, but are undated. All of these cards are in
near-mint condition and have not been marked or mailed. These are
perfect for display or framing.

The meteorite shown in the color photo is Elephant Moraine A79001.
At the time of the photo, it did not have it's final classification.
It is a 7.9kg Martian Shergottite. The Met-Soc Bulletin entry can
be found here :

On the reverse side of the card is a short paragraph as follows :

"Johnson Space Center, Houston, Texas. Meteorite at JSC believed
to be of Martian origin. A meteorite in a dry nitrogen cabinet
undergoes study in the meteorite processing lab at Johnson Space
Center's planetary and earth sciences laboratory. The sample,
designated 79001, was discovered in 1981 by an Antarctic meteorite
recovery team and is thought to be of possible Martian origin."
(official NASA photograph)

Here are 2 photos of the postcard on my Photobucket account :

I am asking $6 each shipped - this price includes shipping to anywhere
in the CONUS. Asking price is $8 for Canadian or Overseas buyers.

There are 10 of these cards available. If someone wants to buy all
10, I will sell them for $48 shipped in the CONUS, or $50 shipped
to Canada/Overseas. Buyers from the Orion-arm are responsible for
paying their own pan-planetary trade tax.

PayPal preferred.

I have to run some errands, so I might not reply right away. But I
will respond to everyone tonight. :)

Thanks for looking!
