[meteorite-list] A very wierd meteorite. Any ideas what it is?

I too have an 869 stone with a cut face half of which shows a dark 
homogeneous grey matrix and the other half a light coloured differentiated 
chondrule mix.  The dark matrix could very well be impact melt.  Very 
interesting.

As mentioned in other emails to this thread, 869 is a great meteorite with 
nice character and many interesting inclusions.  Fortunate for us all that 
there is lots to go around at great prices.
