You are not by any chance a car salesman are you Matthias? I would be interesting in buying a vehicle from a salesman who regards it as only right and proper to "take it back" if it starts rusting after its been left out in a muddy field in the rain for a few thousand years before I buy it (presumably in full knowledge of that fact).... 

I have bought stuff from Mr Smula and while "lapidary" might be a good description of our correspondence, I have had no problems, though have not obtained any Morasko from him.

Out of interest, what was this "obscure chemical treatment" he suggested?
