[meteorite-list] Strewn field help

Hi List

I ran across some info that a meteor burst over an area. The search area is very large. If the meteor came in from east to west then burst. I guess the strewn field would be long and not so wide. Some of the known strewn field how much area do they usually take up? Just trying to come up with a plan of attack.
