[meteorite-list] Apology and MY Last Word on this Domain Name Squatter Issue.

Recently I received a vile email from Mexico Doug and I re-sent it to the 
list.

Apparently that is against list protocol, which I was not aware of and I 
apologize for that.

So far, a few members have sent me private emails explaining this and 
because I am new and Mexico Doug is well established I am in the wrong.

But I would like to say one last thing and I am in no way insinuating that 
Mike or that Mexico Doug are interested in child pornography, sex offenders, 
etc.



I think it's important to know what kind of people have access to this list.

I bothers me that someone infiltrated the list just to sell meteorite domain 
names, whom has a track record of mostly selling porn related domain names.

It also bothers me this person is being defended by some people,  and the 
most vocal person is Mexico Doug who sent me a very vile email which 
required the exact same ebay investigation that he admonished Darren for, 
except he obviously spent a considerable amount of time since he had to wade 
through 500 feedback comments to find the one he paraphrased in his email.



Now why am I so concerned about this seemingly off topic subject.

Recently a convicted child molester was able to RE-INFILTRATE another forum 
I use.

He was permanently banned when he was convicted and sent to jail for 
attempting to engage in unsavory conduct with a minor but once he was 
released from prison he assumed a new identity and in the course of about 2 
years became and icon in our community.

He was so well received his most vocal opponent actually invited him to join 
his own private forum.

Well, he made a mistake and was caught and outed, but a lot of damage was 
done that could not be undone.

One person even sent this person pictures of his family which included his 
young daughter.

It is a very disturbing but interesting story and if you have some time you

Now let me reemphasize my final word and I will never speak of this again.

I am very sorry I broke list protocol by sending a private email to the 
entire list but I did it because I feel it is very important to know the 
type of people that have access to this list.
