[meteorite-list] Question about meteorites in sand dunes

Hello to the List.

I read an old document about very big masses of iron
lying in sand* in the 1930's in a north african
country. I would like to know if these masses would be
covered by sand now or if there's a chance or
techniques (sonar, infrasounds...) to recover it ?
