LOL - i wont give them away for free - but I'm not looking to make a killing
on them either. I didnt include any sort of price or weights because I
havent touched the stone yet - when I DO cut it I'd just like to recover my
initial cost per gram, cut loss and wire cutting costs. At a minimum I'd
like to take off a few thin (2mm or so) full slices to open up the face on
the stone to the point where a huge phenocryst is sticking out of the side
just bellow the current face. there are a few transparent phenocrystas in
the current face so at least 2 slices could be taken off to show off these
inclusions.

One thing I hate to do is butcher a great looking meteorite - and I dont
like haveing a bunch of slices of the same stuff sitting around - hence my
post to guage the intrest in this material - for all i know everyone that
would have wanted a pice already got a slice when the Hupe's sold their
stuff. - if no one responded in the affermitive I might not end cut cutting
the stone at all.

Just for the heck of it - here are some pics of the stone as it sits. the
one big phenocryst is nearly 2cm long! sorry for the poor images, it's
rather overcast today and not very conducive to taking photos.
