Hello Adam,

I am far from judging on your new iron whether it is paired or not, but silicate inclusions (better: silicate/graphite assemblages) are rather common in Campo del Cielo. The average kamacite bandwidth is 3 mm, but as usual for coarse to coarsest octahedrites, it varies a lot. What you see and what you get also depends on how the iron was cut relative to the crystal plane.

As you say, one has to wait for the chemical analysis.
