Good Evening Mac Hams!

Just a note to say thank you to all those who were so helpful with my
questions about getting my FT-847 Yaesu to speak to my eMac. First,
thanks Don Agro for all of your help. Great customer service indeed!
For the rest of you, thanks for your inputs and suggestions that have
all brought me to a place where everything now works.

For future reference. With my particular setup I needed the
serial/Adapter plus a db9 female-female ended null-modem adpater. As
soon as I had those elements in place the software immediately began
working with my eMac and my Yaesu FT-847 as described. The key was
getting the drivers for the usb/serial adapter and then getting the
null-modem with the female ends. Once that was done, everything
worked. So this might be one to save for future use.

Thanks again everyone for all your help.

72,
