Yes, with the RTS checkbox unchecked in the MacLoggerDX preferences RTS 
should be low (except for a brief pulse when the port is opened).

When sending CW we set RTS high (if the user selects RTS for either CW 
or PTT).

So, I am not sure why Stéphane is having problems unless he has CI-V 
transceive mode turned on in the radio menus which could be confusing 
MacLoggerDX and causing it to open and close the serial port.

This was the problem with a different microHAM/MacLoggerDX/Icom user.

I will see if I can get MacLoggerDX to ignore the CI-V Transceive mode 
data bursts
