[DogParkList] MicroHAM driver problem

I recently received a MicroHam IC13 USB controller to connect my Mac
with MacLoggerDX to my Icom IC-718. I'm having a problem getting the
proper drivers to load for the USB-serial interface.

My system is a Power Macintosh G4 (Digital Audio version), upgraded
with a 1.2 Ghz processor, and 1.5 Gb RAM. It is running Mac OS X
10.3.5. The USB connection is via a USB 2 4-port card installed in a
PCI slot.

I have installed the accompanying Mac OS X software several times. I
can "see" the device when plugged in, via the Macintosh System Profile.
It reports:

USB <--> IC
Vendor Name: MicroHAM
ProductID: 61164 ($eeec)
Up to 12 Mb/Sec
Serial Number: FT2XSWCG
Bus Power (mA): 500

I have investigated the problem with the FTDI website. The driver does
not show up in the /dev directory, and I've tried a couple versions of
the driver downloads.

The Mac "sees" the device, but I do not get a green light on the front
of the box. And when I connect to my Icom IC-718, I don't see the red
light, either.

Is it possible there is a conflict with the drivers for my Keyspan
USB-RS-422 serial adapter?

Any help will be appreciated.
