Progressive Antisemitism: What's Happening and How to Combat It

Featuring Blake Flayton, Jewish Social Media Influencer, Journalist, and
Activist

Thursday, November 2nd // 7:30- 9:00 pm // CBI

High school students and their parents (and anyone interested) are invited
to join Jewish social media influencer, journalist, and activist Blake
Flayton for a conversation about the current trend of antisemitism coming
from the progressive left, and how to combat it. In 2019, while a student at
George Washington University, he wrote an essay for The New York Times
entitled "On the Frontlines of Progressive Anti-Semitism," and in it stated:
I am a young, gay, left-wing Jew. Yet I am called an "apartheid-enabler," a
"baby killer" and a "colonial apologist."

Blake will talk about the rise of antisemitism in the Diaspora after the
October 7 massacre with JCRC Steering Committee member Jordana Horn Gordon.
