Talmud Study Returns Tonight!

Monday, October 23rd // 7:30 pm // Zoom

Talmud Study with Rabbi Akiba Lubow will begin THIS Monday evening, October
23rd at 7:30 p.m. (with a break for minyan at 8:00).  In the "first
semester," the class will study a continuation of the "Origins of Jewish
Worship."

Sharsheret Shabbat

Friday, October 27 // After Evening Minyan // Zoom

Please join us this Friday night on Zoom for Sharsheret Shabbat. During
Kabbalat Shabbat services, we will welcome Jenna Fields, MA, MSW. Fields is
a women's health and cancer genetics advocate, serving as the Chief Regional
Officer of Sharsheret, the national Jewish nonprofit supporting women and
families facing breast and ovarian cancer, and hereditary risk for cancer. 

At the conclusion of services, we will hold an open forum until 7:00 pm to
share stories. We invite you to wear pink - or teal - or purple - or the
representational color of your choice and to consider your answer to one of
these prompts:

1)             I never expected this to come out of my cancer experience.

2)            I wish I had known ahead of time that.

Bim Bam Shabbat for Young Families at 5:30 p.m.

A special Shabbat experience for our families with young children!

Shabbat Dinner at 6:00 p.m.

A catered dinner with favorite Chinese dishes - egg rolls and Challah, too!
Eat, relax, and schmooze with your CBI friends. Kid-friendly, vegetarian,
vegan and gluten-free options!

There is no cost for this dinner, but please register by 11:00 am on Friday,

A generous donor has underwritten the cost of this Shabbat Dinner.
