The Annual CBI BBQ and Open House!

Thursday, August 10th // 5:30 pm // CBI

Join us for our annual tradition! We provide burgers, hot dogs, salads,
watermelon, soft drinks, and dessert. Vegetarian options are available too!
BYOB - kosher, of course!

This year's BBQ features The Mood Swings, NJ's own all-female classic rock
band, playing classic covers spanning the decades from the 1960's to today!

Back 2 School Store Event at CBI

Sunday, July 30th // CBI

CBI is the host site for the 15th annual NCJW/Essex Back 2 School Store next
week!

On Sunday, July 30, 500 pre-registered children will visit the pop-up store
(at CBI!) to shop for BRAND NEW clothing and school supplies to help build
their enthusiasm for the new school year. In addition, our volunteers will
custom pack shopping bags for another 500 children who are not able to
attend the store in person. To learn more about how the Back 2 School Store

NOTE for CBIers who want to volunteer: All volunteers on Sunday, July 30
must complete a 2 minute on-line background check in order to sign up for a
shift working at the store (even if you have done a different clearance).
There is a small fee, but as CBI members, we are invited to have that fee
covered by NCJW/Essex in appreciation for CBI being the host site for the
store this year. A few days after you complete the background check, you
will receive an email indicating that your background check is completed and
including a link to register to volunteer at the Back 2 School Store.
