Beyond Bereavement Circle

THIS Thursday, July 27th // 4:00 - 5:30 pm // CBI

We invite those who have passed the first year of mourning to join this
safe, supportive, loving group. We will share our memories, challenges, and
the wisdom of our experience. Facilitated by Rabbi Helaine Ettinger, this
group is open to both members and non-members of CBI. The topic for this
meeting will be "Helpful and Unhelpful Advice We've Received About Grief."

Back 2 School Store Event at CBI

Sunday, July 30th // CBI

CBI is the host site for the 15th annual NCJW/Essex Back 2 School Store next
week!

On Sunday, July 30, 500 pre-registered children will visit the pop-up store
(at CBI!) to shop for BRAND NEW clothing and school supplies to help build
their enthusiasm for the new school year. In addition, our volunteers will
custom pack shopping bags for another 500 children who are not able to
attend the store in person. To learn more about how the Back 2 School Store

NOTE for CBIers who want to volunteer: All volunteers on Sunday, July 30
must complete a 2 minute on-line background check in order to sign up for a
shift working at the store (even if you have done a different clearance).
There is a small fee, but as CBI members, we are invited to have that fee
covered by NCJW/Essex in appreciation for CBI being the host site for the
store this year. A few days after you complete the background check, you
will receive an email indicating that your background check is completed and
including a link to register to volunteer at the Back 2 School Store.

New Beginners Class at CBI!

We are thrilled to offer a new class for children whose birthdays are
between September 30, 2021 and May 1, 2022.

This is an opportunity for our youngest learners to enjoy a morning of
engaging activities designed to encourage age-appropriate social, cognitive,
and physical development. Classes meet five days a week from 9:00 AM - 12:00
PM; children may choose to attend three, four, or five days.
