Family Pizza-in-the-Hut

Thursday, October 17 -- 5:00 to 6:15 p.m.

Join us in the Sukkah to celebrate Sukkot with a pizza dinner (plus fruit
and drinks), craft project and singing with Rochelle and Rabbi Julie!

This event is FREE and open to CBI families with children from birth through
12 years old . but we need you to RSVP so we have enough pizza!

Friday, October 18 -- Shir Service at 6:00 p.m. // Dinner at 6:45 p.m.

Shabbat Journeyers' Minyan Returns

THIS Saturday, October 12 at 10:45 a.m. // Room 205 of School Wing

Join us this Shabbat for our first Shabbat Journeyers' Minyan of the new
year! Jamey Potechin will be leading "And G-d rested on the seventh day..."
Come learn and discuss how Shabbat affects all of us - Jews and non-Jews -
in ways that we take for granted today. All are welcome!

The Shabbat Journeyers' Minyan is an opportunity for congregants to get
together on select Shabbat mornings to discuss and explore topics related to
a Torah portion, the liturgy, religious holidays or any other topic related
to Jewish life. We meet right after the Torah reading and finish in time to
join the rest of the Congregation for Kiddush. Discussions are lay-led and
are always thought-provoking and enjoyable.
