Yom Kippur Chanting Circle

THIS Sunday, October 6 at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel

‘Pre-prayer’ for Yom Kippur at our inspirational chant and song circle with
musical accompaniment.

We focus on key verses from the Day of Atonement liturgy, exploring their
meaning.

We then sing the text as we join together with our voices in simple yet
compelling, melody and rhythm.

The intention of chanting is to awaken the divine in our hearts. It can
soothe the mind and at the very least is simply fun to do! No prior
knowledge of Hebrew or singing ability necessary
 only a willingness to
join in spiritual community.

Our 9th Year Begins!
