High Holiday Workshops

Join Rabbi Paul Resnick for two unique workshops designed to make your time
in the shul more engaging and compelling. Through review of texts,
discussion and open-ended, thought-provoking questions, you are guaranteed
to feel inspired as we approach the Days of Awe.

Each workshop will be presented twice . choose the session that is best for
you!

Workshop #1 -- Why and How Do I Pray? with a focus on the ten days of the
Yamim Noraim (Days of Awe)

Evening Session - THIS Thursday, September 12 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. OR

Morning Session - Monday, September 16 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Workshop #2 -- The Top 5 in the Mahzor exploring key prayers in the High
Holiday prayer book - and their meanings

Evening Session - Thursday, September 19 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. OR

Morning Session - Monday, September 23 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

The workshops are suitable for learners at all levels . from beginner to the
most experienced. It is not necessary to attend each workshop.

Music Program with Adult Forum

THIS Thursday, September 12 // Lunch at 12:30 p.m. Program Starts at 1:00
p.m.

Join us for our Opening Event of the 2019-2020 season! Come spend an
afternoon enjoying the musical stylings of The Arthritic Duo, Jerry Sorrell
(violin), and Arnold Chait (piano). They will perform classical and
contemporary selections.

Our programs are open to all CBI members and the general community.

By all means, bring friends!

The cost is $10 for Adult Forum members & partners // $12 for community
participants

No charge if only attending program.
