JCC MetroWest (760 Northfield Avenue, West Orange)

Live music, arts & crafts activities, inflatables, games, face painting,
kosher food trucks and lots more at this free community event. (Food
available for purchase.) Join the CBI Membership Committee and staff for
this fun family program - rain or shine!

Please note that from 3:00 to 3:30 there is a sensory-free period.

High Holiday Workshops

Join Rabbi Paul Resnick for two unique workshops designed to make your time
in the shul more engaging and compelling. Through review of texts,
discussion and open-ended, thought-provoking questions, you are guaranteed
to feel inspired as we approach the Days of Awe.

Each workshop will be presented twice . choose the session that is best for
you!

Workshop #1 -- Why and How Do I Pray? with a focus on the ten days of the
Yamim Noraim (Days of Awe)

Evening Session -- Thursday, September 12 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. OR

Morning Session -- Monday, September 16 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Workshop #2 -- The Top 5 in the Mahzor exploring key prayers in the High
Holiday prayer book - and their meanings

Evening Session -- Thursday, September 19 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. OR

Morning Session -- Monday, September 23 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.

The workshops are suitable for learners at all levels . from beginner to the
most experienced. It is not necessary to attend each workshop.
