A Family's Holocaust Story

CBI congregants Joel and Pascale  Reidenberg share  photographs, letters and
memories of their father's experiences of living in France during World War
II and the expulsion of French Jews during the Shoah.

Candle lighting ceremony in conjunction with Men's Club Shoah Yellow Candle
Program.

Names of CBI family members who perished during the Shoah will be read
aloud.

Our congregation is honored, humbled and fortunate to have several veterans
of the IDF as members of our shul.

Come hear about their experiences in the defense of Israel.

 

 



CBI Chanting Circle

Join us in the Chapel Sunday, April 13th at 5:00 p.m. for an hour of
inspirational Hebrew chant and song with musical accompaniment.  

Our theme will be 'Some Enchanted Evening,' as we explore the Ma'ariv
liturgy through the vehicle of chant.

Be prepared to sing your heart open, soothe your mind, and let your spirit
soar!  No prior knowledge of Hebrew or singing ability necessary.only a
willingness to explore spiritual community.

 

 



McRoberts Recognition Shabbat & Oneg
Friday, April 25 at 8:15 p.m.

We are pleased and proud to welcome to CBI Susie, Everett and Grace, our
family from McRoberts who coordinate our efforts.

We will be holding an Oneg in their honor and also recognize all CBI
congregants who have volunteered or contributed to our efforts over the past
five years.

Suzie, Everett and Grace will be speaking to the congregation during the
Oneg.

The Men's Club of Congregation B'nai Israel for many years

has participated in a local softball league,

competing against other Men's Clubs in the area.

 

Now is your chance to join in the fun!

We are looking for new teammates to power our lineup

and anchor our defense!

Games are casual.

with just enough competiveness to make it fun and worthwhile!

 

Games are Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m.

from April 13 through July 13 (plus playoffs).

Meet at 9:30 to warm up and take batting practice.

 

It is not necessary to come to every game.but the more the better!
