Who is willing to be a mentor for GSoC if we get a slot with Python? We need 3 at least.

Hi Gary!

Our rules ask for 3 mentors on hand if you'd like to work with us, so let me know when you've found at least one more and we'll go from there!

Hi; I represent the SCons project (a next-generation python-based software build tool). We'd be very interested in participating in GSoC this year as part of the python umbrella group; we've had several successful GSoC projects on our own in past years and have some good ideas for this year. Our ideas page is at http://www.scons.org/wiki/GSoC2014Ideas; we have at least two mentors available already and are working on getting more -- if you know of other people who'd be interested in mentoring a SCons project, we'd also be very interested in working with them. Please let me know if this would be a possibility or if I can share more information that would be helpful.
