Yes, I'm fairly certain that's what's happening here. If we had a single domain name for our PDFs then this wouldn't be an issue. Come to think of it, I think the errors may have starting happening when we introduced a second domain. That new domain just happened to coincide with a new release, and new traffic, so we investigated from that end.
Our operations team has applied the PythonInterpreter change to production. We'll be monitoring it.
