Seriously, I think this is very unfair.
Most sites do not redirect URL's when they have a *major* restructure.  Even 
Microsoft does not do this.
Instead, if they can, they set up a redirect to a 'standard' url not found 
page, which will say something along the lines of
"The information that you have requested is no longer available or has 
expired.
You may wish to visit the <Some Company Name> home page."
or something similar.

or http://www.bigpond.com/random/url
ReportLab will should perhaps talk to their webhost to see if something 
similar can be done on their server.
