[reportlab-users] How to place background image in table cells?

Folks,

  As a relative newbie to the ReportLabs/pdfgen/Platypus world, I've been 
scanning the documentation and list archives to find out how to add images 
to table cells ---AS BACKGROUNDS -- i.e. so that I can then write e.g. text 
flowables over each background image. Haven't been able to find an answer as 
yet - can you point me in the right direction?
