Maybe Lost, Never Forgotten.

Thank you Art for 30 years of hosting, catering and sometimes babysitting the List. As in the cosmos, violent collisions occur that send rocks to us to study and enjoy. These “rocks” are then studied, enjoyed and babysit in museums and private collections alike. Many were shared on this very List, creating discussions and friendships along the way.

Thank you All for the friendships and contributions. None will be lost or forgotten!

Dear List Members,

After nearly 30 years, the Meteorite List will be shutting down on January 6th.

When this list started, online communities for meteorite enthusiasts were rare. Over the decades, it's connected collectors, hunters, researchers, and curious newcomers from around the world. The conversations, finds, and knowledge shared here have been remarkable.

Times change, and the ways we connect have evolved. While this chapter is ending, I hope the friendships and connections made here continue.

The archives will remain available at www.meteorite-list-archives.com for anyone who wants to revisit past discussions. They are a few months behind but will be synched up shortly.

Thank you to everyone who contributed over the years—whether you've been here since the beginning or joined recently.
