[meteorite-list] Important Admin Message - Farewell to the Meteorite List

Dear List Members,

After nearly 30 years, the Meteorite List will be shutting down on January
6th.

When this list started, online communities for meteorite enthusiasts were
rare. Over the decades, it's connected collectors, hunters, researchers,
and curious newcomers from around the world. The conversations, finds, and
knowledge shared here have been remarkable.

Times change, and the ways we connect have evolved. While this chapter is
ending, I hope the friendships and connections made here continue.

The archives will remain available at www.meteorite-list-archives.com for
anyone who wants to revisit past discussions. They are a few months behind
but will be synched up shortly.

Thank you to everyone who contributed over the years—whether you've been
here since the beginning or joined recently.
