Folks:
In case anyone on the list is interested, my latest book was
just published last week. It is available directly from Springer, but
not yet from Amazon. An image of the cover is attached. The book is
titled: Surface/Volume and explains how this geometric ratio affects
much of the physical world. Covered topics include basalts,
sandstones, chondrules, cosmic spherules, meteorite strewn fields,
differentiated bodies, pizza, fudge, cotton candy, lungs, small
intestines, brains, leaves, King Kong, dinosaurs, nanoparticles, and
krill. Something for everyone.
