Okay I agree, so for study , safe keeping and preservation---why is everyone cutting them up and selling them as a profit maker?

like meteorites being sliced and diced and minced into tiny crumbs that are not even recognizable.
As for spheres, skulls, rings, ……and over knick-knacks, No. It is adding insult to injury.
