Big Kahuna has some individuals and slices of a new Algerian eucrite melt. Many of the individuals feature patches of glossy fusion crust, while the cut and polished slices detail a matrix full of rivers of melt phases with unaltered eucritic ‘islands’. The meteorite has been studied and submitted for classification, name pending NomCom approval.
