[meteorite-list] Oriented vs. Orientated

There's no difference both words have the same meaning. 

In the USA you use oriented and in the UK orientated is widely used. 

It's just one of those words.

Some examples of different usage would be.

Boot (UK) and Trunk (USA) 
Rubbish (UK) Garbage (USA)
Trousers (UK) Pants (USA) 

I can give you a huge list of words like these but this is not an English lesson :-)

But I wouldn't consider anyone from a different country as being educationally impoverished if they used either or.
