Hi all, Bob is have trouble posting so he asked me to post this for him.


Hi everyone,
As long as the list is all lively again, I've been wondering about all
the broken Chelyabinsk meteorites. Would it be correct to assume that
most are missing a chunk because they were damaged by the shock waves
when the meteoroid exploded? It seems most fell in snow - poor man's
aerogel - and likely wouldn't get chipped.
Thanks for your ideas on the topic.
