The Meteoritical Society Service Award is given this year to Jeffrey Grossman
of NASA headquarters in Washington, DC, USA. Jeff receives this award for his
outstanding contributions to the Meteoritical Society, to the Nomenclature
Committee, and to the Meteoritical Bulletin in organizing and archiving meteorite
nomenclature and classification and in database development and management.
The citation for this award was given by Michael Weisberg.
