[meteorite-list] Passing of John Wolfe, founder of Franconia strewn field

Aloha mai kakou,

It is with heavy heart that I share information with you that Mr John Wolfe has passed away last night, May 20, 2013, at the age of 64 years. John was the discoverer of the Franconia strewn field in Mojave, Arizona on October 31, 2002. I know many of you have hunted these hallowed meteorite grounds in the past, and would ask you to pay a debt of respect to this honorable man (perhaps over a Franconia collection piece). 

This announcement is being made at the request of family members.
