Howdy ladies and gents

	The meteorite gods are fickle creatures who love to mess with people. At Battle Mountain they dropped a meteorite fall onto the only mountain in a sizable swath of gently rolling sage brush and salt flats, forcing everyone to search on mountainsides populated by rattelsnakes. In Addison, AL they plunked a meteorite fall with uncanny precision onto a national forest surrounded by farmlands and pastures (which didn't receive a single meteorite as far as we can tell). And now they've learned a new trick - drop meteorites into the middle of thunderstorms to mess up the radar signatures. They did it in Connecticut earlier this year with a fall that doesn't appear on radar at all. And now they've done it again with the prominent North Carolina fireball from a couple of days ago. They're sneaky, these meteorite gods. Luckily Rob Matson has a sharp eye, and may have found a small meteorite signature in amongst all the thunderstorm clutter.
