August 13, 2001 - Darryl Futrell left Planet Earth for good ...

An excerpt from a mail Darryl sent me on Sat, 17 Apr 1999:

"My Mother told me they got the "Darryl" spelling from Darryl
F. Zanek (spelling?) a movie producer back in the 1930s. I don't
know why they took to that name. It's fairly common, but usually
spelled differently."
