Hi Paul and everyone,

Paul just put up for sale pieces of NWA 4530, an Anomalous 3.05 Carbonaceous
Chondrite. I though you may be interested in seeing an image of the main
mass that is not for sale. It has a very unique crust and areas where the
fusion crust popped off. Enjoy!

Subject: [meteorite-list] Ad Meteorite Sale, Several Rarities! Ad

Good afternoon Folks,

Unlike the late 1990's and early to mid 2000's, I rarely sell meteorite
specimens any more. But after a hiatus of nearly a decade, I’ve decided to
offer a handful of truly choice meteorite specimens which I have acquired
over the years, for the discriminating collector---some of which are rarely
if
ever seen, and a couple that are literally, all but unattainable.

1. A TYPE COLLECTOR’S TREASURE: NWA 4530, W0/1, S1, an intensely rare
Anomalous CO3.05 Polymict Carbonaceous Chondrite found in Algeria in 2006.
The TKW was 35.9 grams, consisting of the main mass, a 7.186 gram type
sample removed from the main mass, and five fragments from that main mass
which
broke off on impact and which fit together like a puzzle. Several years
ago I purchased all but the main mass and the type sample.

Here are a couple of quotes from the primary researchers of this meteorite:

“NWA 4530 is the most pristine early solar system material I have ever
seen.”

“There are no CO3.05s or CO3.0s or even CO3.1s that are as pristine (W/0)
as NWA 4530… a unique and important meteorite!”

I now offer these incredible specimens to you.

2.872g with 25% fusion crust: $650.00
.718 g with 10% fusion crust: $200.00
.224 g with 25% fusion crust: 125.00
.208 g with 25% fusion crust: $100
.016 g with about 50% fusion crust: $30
Please EMAIL ME FOR PHOTOS of these magnificent specimens, as well as
additional information.

2. Brenham PAL 131g half slice, 135 X 130 X 3 mm ( very minor surface
oxidation---fully intact slice) $275.00

3. Albin PAL 7.24g $200.00

4. Gebel Kamil Iron 100.56g individual---nice $70.00

5. Las Palmas Variety of Campo Del Cielo, Iron 377g $125.00

6. Stunning Canyon Diablo, Iron 1353g (three pounds) 118 X 68 X 70mm.
Uncleaned with nice desert varnish. Included are brochures I picked up
while
visiting the impact site 18 months ago. $500.00
Shipping will be $10.00 in the lower 48.

7. Super Rare LUNAR----Calcalong Creek. More than a decade ago I bought
some of this rare meteorite from Rob Elliot in the UK. I sold out of it on
eBay within hours of listing it at upwards of $350,000 per gram. I was
able to acquire a small fragment from Anne Black a couple of years ago and
am
letting it go, reluctantly. Despite using a gram scale accurate to .002g,
I am only able to estimate the mass of this specimen at 2mg to 4mg because
the scale gives both measures during weighing. This specimen is also
beautiful under magnification!

8. Rare Berthoud meteorite, Witnessed fall of October 5, 2004, at 1:30
PM, a meteorite fall was witnessed in Berthoud, Colorado, and landing only
100 feet from a young girl and her family. I obtained this specimen from
Edwin Thompson, of E.T Meteorites at nearly twice this price several years
ago. Price slashed to $950.00. Here is a link to information about this
amazing Eucrite: http://www.lpi.usra.edu/meteor/metbull.php?code=47355

9. Finally, for sale is a beautiful crusted Howardite meteorite, NWA
5513. THW was just 230g. This specimen has a mass of 19.9g and has about
40%
fusion crust. $150.00.

PHOTOS of all but the NWA 4530 specimens can be seen here:

Please email me with any questions or for additional information on these
specimens. <Litig8nshark at aol.com>

I accept PayPal or Money Orders. Shipping is $6.00 in the Continental US.
Please ask for overseas rates.

Thanks for looking, and Best Regards,

Paul Martyn
