NASA Dawn Mission to Host 'Hasta La Vesta' Google+ Hangout
Jet Propulsion Laboratory
September 4, 2012

Join NASA's Dawn mission at noon on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 for a
Google+ Hangout featuring mission team members and fans as the
spacecraft says hasta la vista to its host, asteroid Vesta, and
sets its sights on the dwarf planet Ceres.

Dawn has spent a phenomenal year orbiting the giant asteroid Vesta,
gathering data close up and far away with its international
payload of instruments. To celebrate Dawn's achievements and
upcoming voyage to Ceres, NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in
Pasadena, Calif. will host a virtual Google+ Hangout, giving the
public a chance to interact with Dawn scientists and engineers as
they share mission stories and answer questions about Dawn's
findings and future.

Members of the public are invited to submit questions in advance
of the event by email, to dawnepo at gmail.com, or on Facebook and
Twitter at: http://www.facebook.com/dawn.mission and
http://twitter.com/NASA_Dawn.

A Google+ account is required for participation. To join the
Hasta La Vesta Google+ Hangout, visit http://bit.ly/dawnhangout
at noon PDT on Sept. 8 and log in with your Google+ username and
password.
