It has not been cut and is exactly the way he found it.  It is just unusually flat on one surface.  Congratulations!  It is interesting that the asking price is $700,000.00.  My guess will be a no-sell by time the 10-day auction is up, especially if a 5 kilo piece shows up.

It would have been nice if the auction photos clearly showed the sliced/cut surface.  But if Rob is correct (and I expect he is) that would have proven it to be a "wrong."
