[meteorite-list] Outreach event at BBC Stargazing live in January :-)

Hi all,

Myself and a few other members of BIMS are taking part in a BBC
Stargazing Live event on 10th January 2013. We will have a display of
some of our meteorites along with posters and BIMS display boards etc.
Some of the event will be filmed by the BBC and we have been asked to
take part in a filmed Q & A session. The details of the event are

We will also be running a competition to win meteorites with ideally 3
prizes, a 1st, 2nd and a 3rd.  This would be announced on the night
and during my pitch to get involved they were very interested in this
and intimated that they could announce the winners during a draw at
the end of the night which would be filmed. We have run a similar
competition previously and had prizes of small specimens of
Tatahouine, NWA 867 and Henbury as prizes. Each winner had one of
each. As this is a much larger event (over 3000 visitors expected
apparently! I am hoping for some slightly more impressive prizes. I
think a 3rd prize of what we gave before would be excellent but maybe
a larger 2nd and 1st prize............ To that end i am asking if
there is anyone who would have anything they might wish to donate to
the cause. I am hoping for a maybe a Campo and a stony of some
description. So if anyone has anything suitable that they would be
prepared to donate then we would be most grateful but more so i am
sure the winners would be thrilled :-)

Off to bed now as am feeling shocking (coming down with flu i think
:-( ) But as we dont have much time if anyone can help it would be
cool to get things moving:-)
