Happy Birthday Murchison meteorite, which fell on this day in 1969!  42 years on earth and still revealing secrets of the early solar system!

Although this article is from last year, its amazing how this carbonaceous chondrite continues to provide science with more insight into solar system formation and evolution over the course of the 42 years since its fall, as analytical technological sophistication evolved during this time.
