Dear List Members,

A recent paper has an interesting description and
discussion of K-P tsunami deposits that contain
dinosaur bones and impact ejecta. These deposits
are part of the Delgado Sandstone Member, which
is exposed in the La Popa Basin in north-eastern Mexico.

The paper is:

Beichel, 2011, Tsunami backwash deposits with Chicxulub
impact ejecta and dinosaur remains from the Cretaceous–
