[meteorite-list] Taking a look inside a chondrite meteorite

My favorite way of windowing potential meteorites is with a bench grinder.
Using the side of the wheel will leave a nice flat and smooth surface in
about a second. To bad they don't make them to run off a 12 volt automotive
outlet for use in the field.

Cheers,

Hello Chris,

I use a dremel diamond wheel when I am in the field from my truck and it
works perfect. Just have to be careful on the amount of pressure
applied.

You can see me using them in my YouTube videos....from my website
http://desertsunburn.no-ip.org . Check them out if you have time!

Kind Regards,

Jim Wooddell
