It also depends on how strong your magnet is. A weak magnet may have difficulty being attracted to stony chondrites. My intial magnet test with Allende failed, until I switched to a stronger magnet. I haven't found a meteorite yet that isn't attracted to a strong magnet..but haven't tested for all types. Ron
