Hi Bernd and List,

I agree, Gary's diogenite is beautiful!

You mentioned NWA 4302, another Johnstown-like diogenite I sold in 2006, 
unfortunately is only had a TKW of 46.2 grams in two pieces and the few 
specimens available sold out immediately at the time. Last April while I was 
in the field, I asked Adam to post to the List for me a couple photos to 
another Johnstown-like diogenite I purchased in Morocco in 2009 that weighed 
323 grams in two fragments. I sold the uncut larger piece to a collector, 
sorry folks! Here is the post with photo links to the 323g stone, my 
pictures do not do it justice:

It would appear the pieces of this diogenite puzzle/fall are finally making 
it to the collector market. If you do not have one yet and want a fresh 
diogenite, don't wait! I am sure Gary's pieces won't last long!!

Hi All,

The only diogenite in my collection that can compete with this
NWA beauty when it comes to freshness and translucent, green
hypersthene crystals, is my NWA 4302 diogenite from the Hupés.
Both NWA 4302 and NWA 6575 look a lot like Johnstown,...only
much fresher!

Can hardly wait for my slice to arrive here and I'm surely looking forward
to a thin section of NWA 6575, which will make this a perfect "combo"!
