Hi Friends and Collectors!
I have added several new meteorite listings today, including some rare
types never offered before. I have also listed more than 40 pieces
and lots of amber. Between new meteorites and new amber, I have spent
the better part of the last 3 days processing this new material and
getting it listed on the website. For those of you who are wondering
- I have branched out into amber to diversify my business. Meteorites
will always be my main focus, but I was offered a large collection of
amber at a price I could not refuse, so these pieces are now available
on my website.
As always, use coupon code "metlist" at checkout for 20% off your

Amber and Copal - high quality specimens from localities around the
world. Any amber collectors who are reading this are going to be
pleasantly surprised at the specimens I have available. Meteorites
and amber have a few things in common - both have dwindling supplies,
both have increasing demand, both have a multitudes of types, and both
are climbing in price at a steady pace. I have several hundred pieces
of amber and I am going through them and listing them, starting with
some of the nicer or bigger pieces. Copal is "young amber" that is
not fully fossilized yet, although most copal is very old (a few
thousand to 2 million years old).
I have a wide variety of pieces to fit all budgets - from small common
pieces to rare types and insect inclusions. I applied my knowledge of
polishing meteorites to amber - so some of these pieces have been
hand-polished by me, while many are rough and unsearched. I do not
have time to search every piece, so if you get a raw piece with an
insect inside (which would be revealed after polishing), then the
value of your specimen has just multiplied by 4x or 5x, depending on
what type of inclusion is inside.
