Yeah, 'cuz electricity is generated far, far away, so my backyard won't get messed up and someone else's neighborhood will be scourged by solar fields and windmill farms!

It was observed during the last price run-up that people's driving habits actually started to become more conservative as gas approached $4 per gallon. IMHO, a positive step provided by market forces.
