This was my piece although I wasn't astute enough to see this beautiful blue "thing" that Shawn spotted. Actually, there are loads of sulfide crystals/veins in Ensisheim, so it is likely some variation of that.  It does not look like plagioclase.

Wasn't there a thread recently about labradorite in meteorites?  Could it be 
the the result of shocked metamorphism of plagioclase feldspar?  Or maybe 
it's ringwoodite?  Looks pretty cool whatever it is.
